RAMOETRY – An outspoken tribute to the Ramones

... is an audio-visual exhibition of musicians from all over the world reading lyrics of the famous Ramones. The readings have been recorded over the last six years during interviews I did for punkrockers radio. It started with Finny McConnell from the Mahones and a lot more followed. The list includes CJ Ramone (Ramones), Marky Ramone (Ramones), Justin Sane (Anti-Flag), Michael „Olga“ Algar (The Toy Dolls), Laura Jane Grace (Against Me), Joey Cape (Lagwagon), Ray Carlisle (Teenage Bottlerocket), Paul McKenzie (The Real McKenzies), Karl Alvarez (Descendents), Arnim Teutoburg-Weiß (Beatsteaks), Ingo Knollmann (Donots), Fletcher Dragge (Pennywise) and many more. The physical version has been presented several times in Northrhine Westfalia. Now it is time to put the project on the internet to give Ramones fans around the globe the opportunity to listen to punks reading punk songs for punks.
